Viktor Orbán performed an unannounced inspection at Magyar Imre Hospital in Ajka on Sunday. A video posted on Facebook reveals that the Prime Minister has traveled the entire journey of the institution’s patient, from the entrance lock to the intensive care unit.

The hospital has 6 intensive beds in “peacetime”, but in recent weeks the institution’s administration has successfully developed the capacity to accommodate up to 86 patients who need intensive care at the same time, as required by the emergency plan. .

Orbán said releasing hospital beds is still just one trial, a worst-case trial. The Prime Minister added that even if the worst happened, Hungarian hospitals would still have to provide care for all coronavirus patients.

– Orbán said, who also added that by May 3, when experts say we will reach the peak, five thousand fans will be ready by then.

The Prime Minister noted that one week of all registered coronavirus patients in Hungary came from the Metropolitan Municipality nursing home, then added that there are 1,100 nursing homes across the country, and we must also be prepared if the disease strikes.
