The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in new Hungarian citizens, bringing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 1,916. Another 17 chronic patients have died, read at koronavirus.gov.hu.

The number of actual virus carriers that can become infected is much higher than those identified as being infected with coronaviruses.
To curb the massive infection, it is very important that the elderly, students, returnees from abroad and those who can stay in their homes and that all comply with the recommendations and restrictions of curfew. We especially ask the people of Budapest to comply with the restrictions, because the capital is the most infected.
As can be seen in the data of the deceased so far, coronavirus is the most dangerous for the elderly, so we urge the elderly to stay home and ask their relatives or the municipality for help to buy. Nursing homes are being inspected, and heads of institutions are being asked to continually step up and implement epidemiological measures.
According to the site, there are currently 11,959 people officially quarantined in the home. The number of samples is 46,353.
