The Chinese manufacturer is also opening up, with a rapid appearance in Europe.

There has been a lot to report on Oppo in the past few weeks, not too long ago we wrote about the expected launch of a device that would start with 12GB of RAM on the market. Now we can report a slightly more modest version that would provide fifth generation access at a better price.

Surprisingly, the new type, more specifically its full specification, appeared on the company’s Portuguese website, so there weren’t many question marks left until the official announcement. It is exactly the latest member of the Find X2 series, which, unlike its immediate predecessors, would no longer be fighting for recognition in the top tier, but in the core segment, based on slightly weaker hardware. While the originals were based on the Snapdragon 865 chip, the Find X2 Lite is already based on the Snapdragon 765 and consequently associates more modest performance with 5G support. Regarding the latter, it is worth noting quickly that in the first round only the frequency bands n40 and n78 will be supported, which would then be expanded with bands n1, n2, n5, n7 and n28 through a software update .

The memory size will be 8 GB and the internal storage capacity will be 128 GB, which will also keep the phone below the level of its predecessors. This time, the battery is a 4025 mAh unit, which instead of the 65-watt fast charge seen above, supports the VOOC 4.0 30-watt standard, which also allows us to reduce a lot of charging time. Interestingly, 4 cameras are placed on the back at the same time, which are 48, 8 and 2 and 2 megapixels, respectively, and here they also support the black and white and “retro” functions. There will be a 32-megapixel self-timer camera on the front panel, which will be placed in a top notch, i.e. not a small hole. The screen itself is a large 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh and Full HD + resolution.

Some Portuguese distributors already have the official price, which it says will be € 500 on the mainland, although the exact launch date has not yet been announced.
