Vaccination coverage of the Hungarian population reached 16.4% compared to the EU average of 9.2%. Due to their vulnerability, vaccines for registered seniors are still at the top of the line. For next week’s vaccinations, vaccines began to be delivered at vaccination points in hospitals and through government offices to general practitioners. The vaccination plan for next week will be announced at today’s operations staff press conference.

The third wave of the coronavirus epidemic in Europe is proving stronger than ever. Due to the drastic increase in the number of patients, the government extended the protection measures for another week from March 22.
