Huge pieces of the alien world can only be buried inside the earth

It is the largest and strangest of all the formations on Earth: huge, mysterious blobs of ga ense stone hidden deep in the lower parts of our planet’s mantle.

These include two large populations called the Large Low-Shear-Vagilance Provinces (LLSVPs) – one buried under Africa and the other under the Pacific Ocean.

These inconsistencies are so vast, they in turn breed their own disturbance, as a large event currently exists and weakens the Earth’s magnetic field, known as the South Atlantic anomaly.

Scientists have a lot of ideas for how and why LLSVP came into being in such a way, but there is little way to prove it.

What is known is that these giant blobs have been around for a very long time, with many ideas they could have been part of the earth because before the huge impact that gave birth to the moon – the ancient traces colliding between the earth and the island were imaginary planets.

According to that widely held argument, Mars-sized Thea has about a billion. Billions of years ago a very early Earth struck, with a large part of Thea and / or possibly a gment falling off the Earth, and we know today that the Moon has become an orbit around the Earth.

As for what happened to the rest of Thea, it is uncertain. Was it destroyed, or was it a recollection of empty space forever? We don’t know

Some researchers have suggested that the cores of these two ancient planets may have merged into one, and that the chemical exchange obtained by this epic has enabled life to enrich itself as a result.

Now, scientists are back with a new proposition on these preface questions, and it’s an idea that even compromises with mysterious LLSVP blobs, weaving them into the Earth / Thea hybrid hypothesis.

According to new modeling by researchers at Arizona State University (ASU), LLSVP may represent ancient fragments of the iron-rich and highly gaseous mantle of Thea, which sank deep into Earth’s own mantle when the two developing worlds came together and were buried there. For billions of years.

“The Giant Effect hypothesis is one of the most tested models for lunar formation, but direct evidence of the existence of an effective Thea is kind,” said researchers led by first author Qian Yuan, a PhD candidate studying mental dynamics at ASU. , Explain in a summary of their findings presented at the Moon and Planetary Science Conference last week.

“We show that the Thea mantle may be much less internally than the Earth’s mantle, which sinks the mantle material into the lowest mantle of the Earth and accumulates in thermochemical piles that can cause seismic-observed LLSVP.”

While there has been speculation for years that the LLSVP may be an alien souvenir planted by Thea, the new research still appears to be the most widespread creation. Ahead of future publication, the findings are currently under review Geographical research papers.

In addition to mental modeling, the results are also consistent with previous research suggesting that certain chemical signatures associated with LLSVP are at least as ancient as the Thea effect.

“So, primitive stuff can [originate] UL and its co-authors write that, by LLSVP, which is well explained that LLSVP preserves the mantle material if it is older than the Giant Impact.

It remains to be seen how the rest of the scientific community will react to the team’s findings, but we’ve got at least another lead on what these mysterious discrepancies might be – and literally the farthest explanation yet.

“This crazy idea is at least possible,” Yuan said Science.

These findings were presented at the 52nd Lunar and Planetary Science Conference held last week as a virtual event.
