Although I’ve been using the Apple Pull Pencil for a long time, I recently discovered a scribble feature that converts your signature into typed text. Scribble is introduced as part of the iPadOS 14. While it may seem like a small feature, I find it really useful. It’s worth checking out if you have an iPad and an Apple Plus pencil.

Here’s how to use the scribble feature of iPadOS 14.

What is Scribble?

Scribble, included in iPadOS 14, basically converts your signature into typed text. This is the best way to test this feature Notes Tap Application and then Pen Select the icon and pen marked with the letter ‘A’. Once you select the signature pen, type something and watch your signature turn into typed text. In my case, I typed “hello world” using a hello moment pencil and despite my poor handwriting, the iPad recognized what I wrote and immediately converted it into typed text.

Sounds fast enough to transform handwriting into a scribble trip, something I really like about this thing. I’ve found Scribble useful for taking quick notes or making grocery lists. But there is more to it. If you circle and highlight a word with a pencil, reveal options like cut or like p. In the meantime, you can delete a word by scratching a word using the tip of the Apple Plus pencil. Interestingly, Scribble works across iOS. With the help of Scribble, it is possible to write an address using a pencil Maps And find a place without having to write it down.

Scribble is an interesting feature, if you have an iPad running iPadOS 14 and an Apple Pencil. If you don’t have an Apple Pull pencil, Logitech crayon styling will work too. The good thing about Scribble is that it also works with the Apple Pull Pages word processor, which I use frequently. Unfortunately, there is no support for Scribble for Google Docs and Micro .ft Office Fees.

How to turn Scribble on / off in iPadOS

Scribble is running by default in iPad 14. However, you have the option to turn Scribble on and off. Simply open Settings Scroll down and select Applications> Apple pencil And then select the tuggle next to Scribble. Once you’ve toggled Scribble, you can try “Scribble” which lets you try out the basic features of the feature.
