5 tips to improve your Amazon Prime Video experience.

With the extension of the blockade until May 3, people will have to stay in their homes for a few more days to avoid the spread of Covid-19. While trapped at home, everyone is looking for ways to get involved, and the most common thing people do or are already doing is watching shows and movies. Download videos

Most streaming services offer the option to download shows and movies for offline viewing. The feature is also available on Amazon Prime Video and is useful in areas where the Internet is slow or for those times when you won’t be able to access the Internet. You can download the entire season of a show with just a tap. The option is available below the “Add to Watch List” button.

When browsing videos in the Amazon Prime Video app, you will see an option to download right next to the content. Click on it and the download will start. Amazon also allows you to choose the resolution for the downloads. If you want to save space, you can choose accordingly.

Restrict content for children

You can restrict children’s content on Prime Video.

Amazon Prime Video also comes with parental controls that allow users to restrict some of the content for their children. You must go to the Amazon Video Settings> Parental Control section to create a five-digit PIN to enable this feature. You can set restrictions on the purchase, as well as control what children see with “Display restrictions”.

Make a watch list

Like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video also allows you to make your own watch list. Using the “Add to Watch List” button, you can add shows and movies that interest you, so you can easily access them whenever you want. To add a show or movie to the watch list, you can also press and hold the video thumbnail and select “Add to watch list”.

Share your Prime Video account

Amazon allows its users to share Prime benefits with their family. You can add an adult and up to four children to share Prime benefits, including streaming access to Prime Video, among other things. You must go to the Amazon Household page to add family members.

To demonstrate that you are sharing your account with someone who lives, Amazon asks you to share your Amazon wallet with the person you are adding, and that also applies to the other person.

Disable auto play

Since people often watch compulsive streaming programs on streaming platforms, most of these services have enabled auto-play functionality that automatically plays the next episode once it’s done with an episode. However, you can disable it by going to Settings and disabling the “Auto-Play” button.
