We haven’t had a Fortnite patch in a couple of weeks, but Epic seems to have brought us back to the frequent additions we saw in Chapter 1. If this is true, then we can expect a patch on July 14, barring any delay.
We are writing this before the patch was announced, but it’s still our best guess. Obviously, we will update this post if our prediction ends up being incorrect. Either way, this is what we expect from patch v13.30.
Error correction
Bug fixes are almost a weekly occurrence in Fortnite. New patches bring new bugs, as players discover the ever-evolving landscape of issues within the game. There seem to be more bugs than ever in Fortnite, right now, but almost all of them are listed as “investigators” on the Trello Board of Fortnite community issues.
This designation means that these errors are likely to be at least a week or two away from being repaired. At this time, the only bugs listed as “Fixed in the next game update” are for the Save the World version of the game. Hopefully, with an impending update, this will not be the case.
Water level
We will probably see the water level drop once again when the update is released. We recently learned that the cars would enter Fortnite on July 21. If Epic wants the roads to be clear, we will need a weekly reduction in water levels.
Data miners have stated that water levels will drop again on July 18 at 3 AM EST. We can see some leaks with this new patch, which point to what the map will look like when the water levels drop. This should be the last recession before cars are added, if they hit Fortnite in time.
Dragon Shotgun
One thing we probably won’t see in this patch is the Dragon Shotgun. We learned that this new weapon arrived in Fortnite a couple of weeks ago, but it still seemed to be far from being released.
It would be awesome to play with a new shotgun, but we don’t expect to see it for another update or two. Still, it’s worth mentioning, as it’s a possibility that it will appear in v13.30.
