Kelly Preston died at age 57 of breast cancer on Sunday after a two-year private battle.
The actress spent her later years caring for her family, including her husband John Travolta, daughter Ella and son Brett, advocating for people with autism due to her late son Jett, acting on different projects and letting fans get into her private life through social networks.
Preston has one more movie that comes out posthumously. In 2019, she filmed “Off the Rails” with Judi Dench. The film is about four friends in their 50s who spend five days traveling in Europe.

In April 2019, Preston posted a photo of the cast and spoke about his opportunity to work with Dench, 85.
“The dream came true today shooting with Dame Judi Dench in London for @offtherailsfilms [sic] Jud # judidench, ”he wrote on Instagram.
Preston also starred alongside Travolta, 66, in the 2018 movie “Gotti.” The couple portrayed John and Victoria Gotti.
“We have friendship and relationship, so you can see intimacy,” Preston told Entertainment Tonight about starring alongside her husband. “I looked at her and the way she looked at me was so completely … I felt like she was in John Gotti’s arms. It gave me the chills.”

He reportedly made his last red carpet appearance for the New York premiere of “Gotti.”
Preston also cheered on her 20-year-old daughter Ella for her role as an actress in 2019 alongside Travolta in the movie “The Poison Rose.”
“Still in awe of my dazzling daughter @ ella.travolta, I just went back to see all of her interviews from the past week doing press for #thepoisonrose and she has jumped into the ‘family business’ as absolutely natural,” said the mother. On Instagram.

Preston revealed in an interview with “Good Morning America” in 2018 that her daughter was the one who linked her to Instagram. “She’s like, ‘It’s about time! You have to join the century,'” he shared.
Through Instagram, the “Jerry McGuire” star shared many love posts about his family.
In May, she posted a photo of herself and Ella and another of Ben captioned, “My beautiful babies … I love you with all my heart. Xxx.”

The loving mother also shared sweet messages for her late son Jett, who died at age 16 in 2009 after a seizure.
“Happy birthday to our sweet jetty, we love you!” Preston captioned a photo in April of his hug to Jett.
That same month, the “Mischief” star shared a sweet tribute to those who live with autism and special needs.
“I have a special place in my heart for those with autism and special needs. Send love to some of my favorite people in the world, “Preston wrote.” My son Jetty was one of the most playful and wonderful souls you have ever met. Love to all of you with autism and special needs around the world. “
Preston also published a lot about his love for Travolta. Her latest Instagram post is dedicated to her husband for Father’s Day.

In a 2018 interview on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Preston revealed that she and Travolta spent a lot of time dancing together.
“The children dance with us, we dance in the house, we go out dancing,” he said. “Yes I love it”.
Preston also spoke about the secret of his 28-year marriage to Travolta. “Communication. Keeping it cool! Checking with each other and evolving. You change so you want to change together. And make it fun,” he said in a 2018 interview on “Good Morning America.”
She added: “It doesn’t just happen on its own. You have to work on it. “
