HOUSTON – Here’s a quick look at the cases of coronavirus that have been reported in the Greater Houston area.
Austin County: 371 deaths, 4 deaths, 189 deaths
Officials are asking people to get the latest information on COVID-19 cases in Austin Country from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services here.
Brazoria County: 7,756 total cases, 62 deaths, 3,987 returns
Information on the cases in Brazoria County can be found at BrazoriaCountyTX.gov.
NOTE: As of June 8, officials in Brazoria County said they will no longer report the case to the Criminal Justice Department as a whole. As a result, the number of reported cases in the province dropped substantially.
Brazos County: 4,352 total cases, 53 deaths, 4,001 recoveries

Calhoun County: 586 total cases, 6 deaths, 552 recoveries
Calhoun County Texas Emergency Management has provided official information about the cases on Facebook.
Chambers County: 1,103 total cases, 10 deaths, 1,001 recoveries

Colorado County: 436 total cases, 3 deaths, 285 recurrences
Colorado County Emergency Management has provided official information about the cases on Facebook.
Fort Bend County: 14,034 total cases, 137 deaths, 8,613 returns

Galveston County: 10,350 total cases, 80 deaths, 6,844 recoveries

Grimes County: 979 cases, 29 deaths, 828 recurrences
Grimes County Emergency Management has provided official information about the cases on its Facebook page.
NOTE: As of June 30, Grimes County officials said they would no longer report the case to the county’s Criminal Justice Department. As a result, the number of reported cases in the province dropped substantially
Harris County: 37,563 cases, 467 deaths, 28,268 recurrences

Liberty County: 1,339 cases, 39 deaths, 763 recoveries
The Liberty County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security has provided case information on its Facebook page.
Matagorda County: 875 total cases, 38 deaths, 561 recoveries

Montgomery County: 7,915 total cases, 98 deaths, 5,547 recoveries

Polk County: 773 total cases, 15 deaths, 680 recurrences
Information on the Polk County cases is provided on acchd.us.
San Jacinto County: 193 total cases, 8 deaths, 172 recoveries

Walker County: 3,553 total cases, 44 deaths, 2,669 recoveries

Waller County: 608 cases, 5 deaths, 341 recurrences

Washington County: 559 cases, 43 deaths, 453 recoveries

Wharton County: 1,143 total cases, 28 deaths, 443 recoveries
