A resident of the Holyoke Soldiers’ House who recovered from the coronavirus again tested positive for the virus.

That individual has been transported to a hospital for treatment and was confirmed to have COVID-19 after experiencing COVID-like symptoms, the Executive Office of Health and Human Services confirmed to MassLive.

“The Home is immediately taking the necessary precautions and conducting comprehensive tests with the support of the Massachusetts National Guard, and is temporarily suspending all visits,” said EOHHS.

They also added that the facility has been implementing protocols for clinically recovered individuals, which can test positive even after clinically recovering.
