Samsung’s next big news is almost here, and no, we’re not talking about the Galaxy Note 20 flagship phone duo or the second-generation Galaxy Fold. The company’s next ultra-high-end smartphones will be allegedly hit by AirPods Pro-rivaling Galaxy Buds Live and Apple Watch Series 6-containing Galaxy Watch 3, the latter of which has been twice in the photo Last weeks.
But now we have A high-quality press render that shows off the gorgeous design of the impending Tizen-powered wearable in all its glory in a 45mm case size, thanks to probably the world’s most trusted mobile tech filtration device.
Obviously, this is the larger of the two main variants of Galaxy Watch 3 that are supposedly slated for an official announcement sometime next month and a commercial launch in early August. The rendering corroborates a bunch of key specs and features already revealed by a sketch contained in FCC regulatory documentation while giving us our best, brightest, and sharpest look at a design that apparently aims to combine the best of the original 2018 Galaxy Watch and the 2019 Galaxy Watch Active 2.
A decidedly elegant and practical design.
Of course, the best thing about the Galaxy Watch 3 bezel is that. Compared to the OG Galaxy Watch, this handy hardware method of navigating the user interface is much less eye-catching, as it reportedly allows the oversized 45mm version to squeeze a large Super AMOLED display (and obviously circular) 1.4-inch in a remarkably compact chassis with 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 mm measurements.
Image of Galaxy Watch 3 previously revealed
In case you were wondering, it’s a smaller, slimmer body than the 46mm Galaxy Watch, somehow capable of accommodating a screen larger than 1.3 inches. Another setting comes in the form of the two side-mount buttons, which are different from what the Galaxy Watch and Note that Active 2 is happening in that department, although we are still not sure how we feel about this change.
Made of stainless steel, this undoubted Galaxy Watch 3 model comes with a black leather strap with white stitching for an extra touch of style. Naturally, we expect Samsung to launch its latest Android and iOS compatible smartwatch in multiple different variants, including quirky units made of titanium.
A robust set of specs with a large question mark
With the model number SM-R840, this oversized version of the Galaxy Watch 3 comes with built-in GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity only.
Of course, the 41 and 45mm sizes will also offer optional LTE support while sharing many basic things like Gorilla Glass DX screen protection, a 5 ATM water resistance rating, MIL-STD-810G durability, a sophisticated Heart rate monitor with ECG capabilities and blood pressure tracking functionality, as well as activity and deep sleep monitoring technology.
ECG monitor is still technically disabled on Galaxy Watch Active 2
Other improved rumored specs compared to the Galaxy Watch and Watch Active 2 include a 1GB RAM count and 8 gigs of internal storage space for Bluetooth-only variants, so overall it seems like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will have everything you need. It takes both from the point of view of design and in terms of internal parts to provide tough competition for the next Apple Watch Series 6.
Unfortunately, some of the health tracking features mentioned above may not be enabled and, in fact, authorized for EE use. USA, which would seriously affect the main appeal of the Galaxy Watch 3. Hopefully that is not the case after all and that Samsung will be able to get FDA approval for its Long-standing ECG monitoring functionality.
