Fortnite Chapter two, season four today brought a variety of changes to the game along with the new Marvel theme.
While there have been many enormous changes regarding the appearance and gameplay of the season, new weapons have been introduced and some old favorites have been brought back. There are also many technical changes that have been made to resolve existing issues in the previous patch of the game.
Here are the changes in v14.00, according to Fortnite’s Community Trello board.
General
- Players had reported an issue where multiple lines of text would appear on the skin that often suggest that the word “Disabled” was addressed in this latest patch. While it was not a major issue, as it would only occupy a small portion of the screen, the fix finally comes after players noticed the issue in recent weeks.
Battle of Royale
- The Water Balloon toy was disabled from the game due to a problem that players would see invisible to some players hit by the balloon. This issue is addressed in patch v14.00.
Creative
- Players report an error in which a naming of a device in creative mode would cause their console to crash. Patch v14.00 has addressed this issue affecting only console gamers.
Save the world
- Players on PS4 who had played Fortnite’s save the world mode report a problem when they complete achievements but no Trophies are awarded. This issue is addressed in Patch v14.00.
Mobile
- Patch v14.00 has addressed an issue that Nintendo Switch users were facing that would cause performance issues when interacting with players as well as creative hubs containing symbols.
