343 Industries is once again responding to some of the negative comments about the Halo Infinite game reveal, this time suggesting that they were not fully expecting some of the comments and are devoting resources to working in areas of criticism.
In a full blog post covering various hot topics on Halo Infinite, 343 dedicates three full paragraphs to the topic of gameplay footage. Essentially, the studio says they stick with the “classic” art style, but acknowledges comments about the game “that it looks flat, simplistic and plastic, the lighting feels dull and flat, and the object emergent.” Accordingly, they have plans to “address some of these areas and raise the fidelity level and overall presentation of the end game.”
343 says the Halo Infinite gameplay demo was a “work in progress,” so they thought certain aspects of the images would not meet everyone’s expectations, but apparently other criticisms were not as expected.
“While some of the feedback was expected and speaks of areas that are already in progress, other aspects of the feedback have brought to light new opportunities and considerations that the team is taking very seriously and is working to assess,” he says. the publication.
343 Industries director of narrative experience Dan Chosich recently addressed the response on Twitter and wrote that the comments are being heard. We now have a firmer understanding that the studio is actively working to improve the graphics for Halo Infinite specifically based on feedback from the game’s reveal.
“We don’t have firm answers or results to share yet, but the team is working as quickly as possible on plans to address some of the feedback on detail, clarity and overall fidelity. The team is committed and focused on making sure we have a beautiful world for players to explore when we launch it. “
Here’s Josh West of GamesRadar talking to 343 Industries about his goal of making Halo Infinite “the most ambitious Halo game ever created”.
