Gwen Stefani shuts down Dua Lipa after she incorrectly calls Blake Shelton her ‘husband’

Gwen Stefani may be in love with Blake Shelton, but she’s not ready to call him her “husband” yet.

Dua Lipa incorrectly referred to Shelton, 44, as Stefani’s “husband” when he hosted “Jimmy Kimmy Live” on Monday and things got tricky.

“I heard you quarantined with your husband Blake Shelton on the farm in Oklahoma,” Lipa, 24, told Stefani, 50.

She went on, “Who was different with you? How was that?”

Stefani giggled in response and said, “Well, he’s not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it.”

‘Oh,’ Lipa said before bending her head with nervous laughter.

Stefani eventually went into detail about quarantining on Shelton’s farm with her three sons, which she shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

She added: ‘It was me, my three boys, Blake, my brother, his wife and her two little babies, her sister and then a friend. I think we had 15 people. It was actually actually a lot of fun at first. All the sudden work is over and you just have to enjoy being on this ranch. ”

Lipa and Stefani have recently teamed up for the remix of the British singer song ‘Physical’, which will debut on the upcoming ‘Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix’ album on 28 August.

Despite Stefani’s statements about Shelton that she’s not her husband, a source told Us Weekly recently that the couple “would like” to get married “as soon as possible”.

According to the insider of the outlet, the couple first lay down after a summer wedding, but due to the pandemic of the coronavirus, it pushed it back to the fall.

Another source said Stefani and Shelton also want two ceremonies: one in Oklahoma and another in Los Angeles, Calif.
