Greg Norman in hospital with virus after father-son tour


Golf Hall of Famer Greg Norman shared photos on social media on Friday indicating that he was hospitalized in COVID-19.

Australian The 65-year-old Australian posted a video on Instagram on Thursday night saying she was experiencing symptoms of coronavirus, then posted photos on Friday showing herself in a hospital bed.

“All of this sums up,” he wrote. “My Christmas Day.”

Norman’s son Greg Norman Jr. also said on social media that he and his wife Michelle have tested positive. Normans met father-son PNC in Orlando, Florida last weekend. Played in the championship.

Elderly Norman said Thursday that he had flu-like symptoms including a mild fever, cough, soreness and pain and mild headaches. He said he took a virus test on Tuesday that came back negative, but he was in self-contagion.

He was admitted to the hospital on Friday, with a photo of himself in a hospital bed and another medical professional, sharing head-to-toe personal protective equipment.

“It’s been an ugly one,” Norman said Thursday. “I’m waiting for one to get out of this quarantine and build a big future for anything that is 2021 and beyond.”
