Gordon Ramsay The “Masterchef Jr.” did more than send the star Ben Watkins Good luck when he was battling a very rare cancer … he tried to help make even the best treatment possible.
The TV chef quietly donated $ 50,000 to Ben at Cancer Gust to help meet the medical costs associated with his battle with cancer … according to sources close to the situation.
This was exactly what happened when Ramsay and Ben’s fellow Season 6 contestants sent him a heart-whamming video, so he prayed for them and helped raise money with GoFundMe.
It’s no secret Ramsay and the ‘masterchef’ community loved the 14-year-old, and we’ve been told that the reality cooking show is currently trying to find a way to honor him after his death. Also, that GoFundMe is now over 200k, and will be used to support his family.
As we have reported … Ben died Monday From angiomatid fibrous histiocytoma. Rams participated in the hosted show and quickly became a fan favorite almost 2 years after he was diagnosed when he was 13 years old.
That form of cancer is so rare, doctors believe Ben is one of the 6 people in the world he knows.
