Google Play Pass subscribers should seriously consider the new tier option

Google announced some things for Game pass This week, to be honest, I completely forgot that it existed. Sorry Google.

In its announcement, the company mentioned that new titles will come to the subscription service that allows you to select apps and games without in-app purchases and without in-app ads. This is not exactly news, as new titles are supposed to be added monthly. In fact, Google says it has added more than 150 new titles in the past few months.

The big news in your ad is a new subscription option for people who like to pay more up front and save money in the long run instead of a monthly payment. Instead of the current price of $ 5 / mo, you can now opt for a new option of $ 30 / mo. If you select that level, that represents 50% savings ($ 30 / year vs. $ 5 x 12 = $ 60 / year), so if you are a Play Pass advocate, this is a easy peasy decision.

To update your subscription, simply open the Play Store app, go to the Play Pass tab, and scroll down to find “Upgrade to an annual subscription.”

Google also announced that Play Pass will hit new markets this week. You will now find it available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Does anyone here really subscribe to this? Worth it? Expect a poll later today.
