Google Home will add settings to customize the ‘Feed’ tab



With the last big overall in 2019, Google made it easy to put two of the four primary screens in the home app. Google Home now has customizable settings in the “Feed” tab so that “Select Types of Events” can appear.

Largely curved today, there is a new button in the top left corner of the second tab of Google Home. The “Feed Customization Settings” page starts with “Full Home” where Google lists two categories:

  • Household routines: Home and away routine
  • Wi-Fi: Network status, Wi-Fi activity

With the capabilities based on the “camera” model, will make a list of what devices are available in your home. Why the nest on the Hub Max not only shows “watched events” like people and motion, but the hello video doorbell will also show packages. Set zones are also listed.

This new Google Home settings can make the already quite busy, priority and less overwhelming feed tab to use its two sections for recent events. The search suggestions at the bottom haven’t changed, but Google has updated the header font to make each section more boulder.
