The cause of Goins’ death has not been released. TMZ reported that a crew member found him unconscious Tuesday night, just outside the room where he works. A drug tried CPR without success. Shortly afterwards, EMTs took him to the hospital, but he apparently could not be reimbursed.
“We are absolutely thrilled to hear about the death of Jesse Goins,” a Discovery spokesman said in a statement. “Our hearts and prayers go out to his family.”
Within hours, Goins’ loved ones shared their memories of him.
I am now truly lost for words. We lost the man I trusted with my future and my future of my children. Jesse Goins was the nicest soul you could ever meet. Love that brother!
