You can find plenty of cool gear to use in Ghost of Tsushima, from the armor of a samurai warrior to Ghost’s special, sneaky outfit. You’ll also find plenty of Vanity Gear items to customize Jin’s appearance, such as special headbands, masks, and sword kits. Among the special items you can find there are several that are also Easter eggs, which refer to other games from the developer Sucker Punch: the Sly Cooper series and the InFamous series.
This is where you can find all the Sucker Punch Easter Eggs to dress up Jin, including a set that unlocks a hidden trophy that could be the most difficult in the game.
We have much more coverage to help you fight the Mongols. Take a look at our Ghost of Tsushima guide summary to see our full tutorial, collection guides, hot spring locations, side quest summary, combat tips, and more.
Second son’s band
The first element in Vanity Gear that works like an Easter egg is the Band of the Second Son. This maroon headband is a callback to Deslin, star of InFamous: Second Son, who is wearing a maroon wool cap.
Where to find it: Climb the pagoda at the Omi Monastery to find the ribbon hanging from an arrow. You will have to touch Act 2 to access this section of Tsushima.
Kama Twisted Headband
The next Vanity Gear item is the Crooked Kama headband, reminiscent of Sly Cooper’s iconic hook-shaped kama. The blue and white headband is not a part of the Sly Cooper costume, but is a reference to the franchise.
Where to find it: Climb to the top of the pagoda at the Jogaku Temple, which you won’t access until Act 3. It’s the tallest building closest to Lake Jogaku, and just like the Band of the Second Son, you’ll find this diadem hanging from an arrow. .
Sly Tanuki sword kit
Even more clearly, an Easter egg that references Sly Cooper is the Sly Tanuki sword kit. Not only is it largely a reference to Sly, a raccoon that looks very similar to a tanuki in name, but it also gives you a Cooper cosplay look. The sword kit gives you a scabbard that looks like a raccoon tail.
Where to find it: In Act 3, head to the east coast of Kin and look for a peninsula overhanging the water, where a Pillar of Honor awaits. You will have to climb some rocks and cliffs to reach the place.
Unlock The Cooper Clan Cosplay Trophy
There’s also a Sly Cooper-related Easter Egg Trophy – the Cooper Clan Cosplay Hidden Trophy. To unlock it, you’ll need to use three specific cosmetic items found in Ghost of Tsushima, which require a little work to find. You can learn more about how to unlock the trophy with our Cooper Clan Cosplay Hidden Trophy Guide for details. This is what you will need to equip:
