Now that July is officially here, we’re getting closer to the Ghost of Tsushima release. The highly anticipated exclusive PS4 release will launch on Friday, July 17, and we now know exactly when the game’s reviews will be released, and it’s coming soon.
The review embargo for Ghost of Tsushima tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM BST. That means that in just a few hours you will start to see outlets, including GameSpot, which will post their reviews of the game before its release date.
Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world action game developed by Sucker Punch, the studio behind the Sly Cooper and Infamous franchises. The title features only one playable character, Jin Sakai, who is fighting to regain his home island from the invading Mongols. Throughout history, players will have the choice to confront their enemies as an honorable samurai or become the “Ghost” and use stealth and other deceptive tactics.
In the lead up to its release, Sucker Punch has been sharing more details about Ghost of Tsushima. The study gave us a much closer look at exploration and combat in the State of Play broadcast in May, and last week detailed the stances and lethality of the Jin katana. Sony also recently shared a new advance to prepare you for war.
While the release date for Ghost of Tsushima is fast approaching, there is still time to pre-order a copy of the game and get some additional bonuses, including a mini soundtrack and dynamic PS4 theme. You can get more information in our Ghost of Tsushima booking guide.
