Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt ES Okraku has assured Black Satellites coach Karim Zito and his technical team that they will receive the best of support before going to Mauritania next year for the Cup tournament. African U-20 Nations.

The experienced coach and his substitutes made history last Saturday when they came back to defeat his Burkina Faso counterpart 2-1 to emerge as Champions of the WAFU U-20 Nations Cup Zone B tournament.

Courtesy of the success of the Ghana U-20 national team, he has now reserved a spot in the AFCON U-20 2021.

Kurt Okraku, to be held in Mauritania, has promised coach Karim Zito and his Black Satellites team the full commitment and support of the Ghana Federation.

“We hope to be competitive at the AFCON level. We absolutely trust the leadership of the technical team and we will give them the best support, not only from our good selves but from the Government of Ghana, and hopefully they will also bring the AFCON trophy to Ghana, ”the GFA kingpin said Tuesday when the coach Karim Zito presented him with the WAFU trophy.

Meanwhile, Kurt Okraku has extended a message of congratulations to the Black Satellites for fighting hard to take home the trophy.

“We want to take this opportunity to congratulate the management, the U-20 technical team for boosting the adrenaline level of the whole country and for bringing the trophy to Ghana.

“It is part of our journey to return love to our people, to our people who love football so much,” said the GFA president.
