Central Region Minister Kwamena Duncan has realized that Mfantseman’s killers Ekow Quansah-Hayford can flee, but they can never hide forever from the long arm of the law.
According to him, the murderers will be arrested by the police very soon to face all the rigors of the law.
Dueling with the grieving family over the weekend, the former central regional president of the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP) said that “the good Lord in heaven will make sure the killers are seriously arrested. They can run but never hide, they will be arrested very soon by the police ”.
He assured that “whatever steps the family takes, we support them and we will make sure that the murderers who committed this heinous crime are apprehended.”
“On behalf of President Akufo-Addo, of the New Patriotic Party, of the Regional Security Council, we want to ask a great forgiveness and mourn with the mother, wife, children and the whole family for the death of her husband, son and brother Ekow. Quansah-Hayford, ”he said.
“I want to say that what happened is a great pain and a loss not only for the family but also for the PNP,” he said.
A Member of Parliament (MP) from the Mfatseman constituency was shot dead on Abeadze Dominase – Abeadze Duadzi – Mankessim Road when returning from a campaign trip to the area.
It is believed that he was attacked around 1:00 am on Friday, October 9, 2020 by 6 armed road robbers and was rushed to the emergency room of the Saltpond Municipal Hospital.
