President Wontumi, Regional President of Ashanti, NPP
The Angel Radio Morning Show host has revealed that the incessant attacks on the president of the Angel Group of Companies by the regional president of Ashanti are due to his refusal to pay off his debt to Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
According to him, while COVID-19 was raging, the Ashanti regional chair for the New Patriotic Party, President Wontumi, ordered hand sanitizers to be distributed to the tune of six million Ghana cedis in the region.
He said that Wontumi, who boasts of being the richest in the region, has refused to pay for the hand sanitizers that were produced under his orders and has been dodging ever since and does not want to pay for the work done to him.
“President Wontumi owes Kweku Oteng the sum of six million Ghana Cedis and since he is pursuing him for money, he has decided to attack him. He has attacked him on several occasions. Go and pay Kweku Oteng the money you owe him and stop the attacks, ”he called him on Angel FM Kumasi.
He added: “Kweku Oteng gave President Wontumi only four new trucks for the 2020 elections. He gave the entire political party twelve new trucks for the campaign. It also gave the Ashanti region almost 1.5 million Ghana cedis. “
