Lazio is interested in the Lobos’ defensive midfielder Leander Dendoncker, according to reports.
The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A team, identified the Belgian as the successor to former Liverpool workhorse Lucas Leiva.
But they are drawn to his versatility and believe that the 25-year-old could operate as a defender, just as he has with Nuno Espirito Santo.
However, the story goes that Wolves would want between € 25m and € 30m even to reach a settlement, a fee that would represent a huge profit on the € 15m they paid Anderlecht when they made their permanent loan in 2019.
