Ghanaians on social media have criticized Chief Dele Momodu for claiming that lights go out in many parts of Ghana on Election Day.
The Nigerian journalist and editor took to Twitter to claim that some areas of the country were facing power fluctuations.
However, a section of Ghanaians broke into the comment section of the Ovation International editor’s post to reprimand him. Some called him a liar for making false claims, while others accused him of spreading false news.
