Swansea Star Andre could still leave the club this summer, as a meeting with former boss Slaven Bilic in Westbrom is in the cards for the Ghanaian.
Ayew has started Swansea’s first two games of the championship season but is believed to be thinking hard about his future following Swansea’s failure to secure Premier League football.
Slaven Bilic signed Ayew in 2016 with West Ham and the two have had a good relationship ever since and Bilic hopes to use that and the prospects of being a leader in his team to attract the former Marseille man from Wales.
The Ghanaian was Swansea’s top scorer in the championship last season with 18 goals in all competitions and the Welsh club will be desperate to hold on to their precious asset but will not stand in his way should he decide to jump into the Premier League.
Another issue Swansea will consider is Ayew’s salary, which the championship team is struggling to meet and would be open to the idea of loaning it to a Premier League team to reduce their salary expense.
Ayew, 30, knows that time is ticking to get back to the top level and would be challenged to prove that she has what it takes to keep playing at the highest level.
