Nana Asafo Adjei, PNP administration director in the party’s youth wing, has described John Dumelo’s reaction to Lydia Alhassan’s coverage of his billboard during a rally at American House as petty, saying the PNP will show him the difference. between acting and politics comes December 7.
It should be remembered that a few days ago, John Dumelo, Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, and his followers, reacted vehemently to the videos that captured some supporters of the New Patriotic Party, trying to cover a billboard of him and John Dramani. Mahama, with a relatively smaller banner of Ms Lydia Alhassan, MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
Dumelo in a series of tweets expressed his shock at the conduct of the PNP supporters.
He first tweeted “cheek” and followed with “she got nervous” in reaction to the blatant disrespect for him.
But reacting to Dumelo’s comments about Neat FM’s Me Man Nti program monitored by GhanaWeb, Nana Asafo Adjei told Dumelo to stop complaining about unnecessary issues. He referred to the complaints as insignificant because the billboard was not removed or destroyed.
“I’m not interested in pettiness; This is so mean to me I say that because you claim that someone has covered your billboard with their banner, the billboard was not destroyed or removed. She had a show there and covered it up. The best thing he did was inform the police who told him that he will be removed after the show. Is that why it makes noise? Nana Asafo Adjei said when asked why they chose to cover the billboard.
He claimed that John Dumelo has been given a script for which he acts and that they would show him that the PNP is serious and does serious politics.
“Look, John Dumelo, he’s still acting. They have given him a script and he is acting but no later than December 7 or 8 we will show him that we do politics so he must continue acting… ”, he said.
