Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said that unlike the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, which has promised to build morgues in Zongo communities in accordance with Islamic custom, the Akufo-Addo government, in case of remain in office after December Elections on February 7, 2020 will provide model schools for those Muslim-dominated communities.

Speaking to CTV News, Sheikh Amdani said that establishing morgues in Zongo communities is unnecessary because it does not contribute to development.
“We need schools, hospitals, ICT facilities and libraries to bring development and not mortuaries,” he said.
