Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the Assin Central MP, has threatened to burn down the homes of former President John Dramani Mahama and some NDC bigwigs, claiming without proof that the NDC is burning markets.
On Wednesday, the National Bureau of Investigation released Eric Adogla, the driver of Peter Otokunor, the NDC’s undersecretary general, without charge after arresting and detaining him on Monday.
“Mahama, let me tell you, you are staying at Chain Homes, which belongs to Alhaji Seidu Agongo. You can’t go burn someone’s fourteen stalls and go free. Mahama, Asiedu Nketia, Akamba, Baba Jamal, you have to be careful, otherwise we will burn your houses too, ”Kennedy Agyapong said on ‘The Dialogue’ on Net 2 TV on Wednesday 23 December.
He added: “If it continues like this, Mahama will burn your house down and if you don’t take care of yourself, we will burn the human being. We cannot allow these things to happen in this country. “
Agyapong alleged that the NDC has indicated that, “enter now [Wednesday] and on Saturday they said they will burn down the Kumasi market and burn down the Cape Coast market. What is happening in this country? “
He warned the former president to simply move out of his Chain Homes residence, otherwise he will rally people to the place and burn down his property.
In addition, he warned Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey (Rtd.), A former NDC appointee, to also be on guard, otherwise his East Legon property, which is closer to his, will be razed by the fire.
Not even the caution of the program host could prevent the deputy from making more scandalous statements about the leaders of the opposition party.
“If they burn a market again, Mahama Chain Homes is there; Do you think you are the [only] those who can organize? Now i dare you [Mahama], Asiedu Nketia, Gbevlo-Lartey, Akamba and Baba Jamal … if we hear any burning in any part of the country, Mahama will burn your house, ”he emphasized.
