Held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center, on Friday December 25, the eighth concert was raided by music fans inside and outside of Ghana, particularly SarkNatives, the official army of fans of the two-time BET award winner.
The concert saw hundreds of fans of the musician fill the venue to witness another historic moment.
Rapperholic 2020 featured a huge roster of rising stars and top artists. However, unlike in previous years, Sarkodie brought less strong guest artists to the stage.
King Promise, who has worked with Sarkodie for a long time and has back-to-back collaborations, made a guest appearance and performed their collaborations together.
Rapper Joey B, who has also worked with Sarkodie for a long time and has back-to-back collaborations, made an appearance on stage to perform their collaborations, including the latest hip-hop / hiplife track “Cold.”
Since Sista Afia appeared on Sarkodie’s album “Black Love,” she has performed with the rapper countless times. Like King Promise and Joey B, he made a guest appearance on stage and performed Sarkodie’s song “Broken Heart” together.
Mr Drew and Krymi, who were blessed by Sarkodie in his groundbreaking song “Dwe”, had the opportunity to perform alongside Ghana’s most decorated rapper. Of course, you don’t need to be told that your collaboration was successful.
Like every year, Sarkodie gave some rising stars a chance to show off their talents. It has been the ritual for the last eight years.
Hip-hop newcomer Kweku Flick, known for the hit song “Money,” burst onto the stage to show what he’s got.
Another hip-hop newcomer, Kofi Jamar, whose hit song “Ekoso” is dominating the airwaves, also appeared in style.
Don’t forget, Darko Vibes was in the mix too.
