Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stepped up his campaign in the North with voter education, urging voters not to look beyond number one on the ballot next week.
Dr. Bawumia, who is located in the Northeast Region, has been telling constituencies in various communities how the number one position is a crucial choice in next week’s election.
“Next week, in shaa Allah, you have the opportunity to choose between development and retrogression. Number one, which has Nana Akufo-Addo and all our parliamentary candidates, represents development and progress ”.
“Any other option represents the setback and recovery of the country, so look no further than number 1 next week.”
Dr. Bawumia has been reminding constituencies of the myriad of problems the country faced under the NDC administration led by John Mahama prior to 2016, and how President Akufo-Addo has spawned significant policies, which he says are impacting positively in Ghanaians.
The vice president said that in addition to the Akufo-Addo government’s prudent management of the bad economy it inherited, the Akufo-Addo government has introduced policies that impact life, such as Plant Food and Jobs, One District One Constituency, One Constituency One Ambulance, NABCO, SHS free, among others.
With the harmattan season approaching in the north, Dr. Bawumia said the government’s policy of One Village One Dam will be meaningful to northern farmers during the dry season, urging them to vote en masse for the NPP to protect these legacies. .
“In four years, he has seen the difference between our government, the government of the nuclear power plant and the NDC.
“Vote number 1, for the president, Akufo-Addo and the MP of the PNP to protect all these great policies that positively impact the lives of many people,” he said.
