The first Super Clash match of the season between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak ended scoreless at Accra Sports Stadium in this outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture.

The two sides played cautiously in the first half as it ended sterile.
Hearts of Oak received a penalty in the second half after Isaac Mensah was fouled by Razak Abalorah in the area.
Kotoko’s goalkeeper redeemed himself by saving the shot to prevent his team from losing the match.
Asante Kotoko was inches from scoring in the 85thth minute but the carpentry denied Kwame Poku.
Hearts of Oak will be delighted to pick a point after a difficult few weeks that saw the resignation of their coach Kosta Papic and other backroom staff.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko missed a chance to close the gap at the top of the table after dropping points despite having some outstanding matches to play.
