Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan trained with his new team on Tuesday before the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The Black Stars’ all-time top scorer joined the Ghana Premier League team in a deal worth more than $ 1 million according to his agent.
The former Sunderland hit man joined his new teammates for training on Tuesday as preparations continue ahead of the league’s start.
He was greeted by the club’s captain, Fatau Dauda, who says he is ready to hand over his armband as a sign of respect to the former Ghana captain.

The 33-year-old also met Legon Cities manager Goran Barjaktarevic for the first time since joining the club.

Asamoah Gyan hopes to be fit in time to make his debut for the Legon Cities when they begin their league campaign against Berekum Chelsea when the season begins on November 14.
Asamoah Gyan, who scored his country’s first World Cup goal in 2006, is Ghana’s most capped player and all-time top scorer with 106 appearances and 51 goals.
With six goals, he also stands as Africa’s all-time top scorer at the World Cup after breaking the record of Roger Milla of Cameroon in the 2014 world competition in Brazil.
