Victorien Adebayor joins HB Koge in Denmark:
We are pleased to announce that our talisman forward Victorien Adje Adebayor has joined HB Koge, who is part of the Capelli Sport global club network.
The Nigerian star man joins the Danish First Division on a three-year contract after completing his medical examination.
He left Ghana last night and arrived in Denmark today and is expected to join immediately and join the HB Koge team.
Adebayor’s match displays and goal return were one of the highlights during his time in the Ghana Premier League.
“We have high expectations for Victorien Adebayor. When we select such a high profile player, we also believe that he can become a crucial figure for us. “
“Adebayor is an exceptional player who can cover all places on offense. Both on the edges, centrally behind the front attacker and all the way in front “
“He has foot speed and some technical skills that allow him to put his opponent straight, and then he has a strong left leg,” says HB Køge manager Per Rud, who has been to Ghana and seen the new player from HB Køge in action, as well as some good intelligence from Henrik Lehm.
Henrik Lehm, who has a past as head coach at HB Køge, was earlier this year, until the closing of the crown in March, Inter Allies FC’s head coach.
He will play alongside some familiar faces who are with the club, Abdul Nassiru Hamzah, Effiong Nsungusi Jnr, Kwabena Kyeremateng, and recently Frank Assinki.
