Abba Ahmad, a businessman and 400 level Accounting student at North West University, Kano now Yusuf Maitama Sule University, has been persuaded to come out of the suicidal state he got into by his inability to marry the president’s daughter Buhari, Hanan.
The 22-year-old who has been enchanted by Hanan’s beauty and educational qualifications has been sending her marriage proposals on Facebook and Instagram.
“I am in love with her (Hanan Buhari) because of her beautiful face, her level of education and the integrity of her father (Buhari).
“I tried to inform him but I don’t know if the messages reached him.”
When asked why she posted about committing suicide if Hanan goes ahead with her marriage to Turad Sha’aban, she said;
“I just said it.”
Kano Police spokesman Abdullahi Haruna confirmed the incident and also revealed that Ahmad was invited to the Command Headquarters at the urging of Frank Mba.
Police Commissioner Habu Sani and a police imam also advised him. It was further revealed that police spokesman Frank Mba spoke to Ahmad by phone for 6 minutes and 6 seconds, convincing him not to commit suicide even if he did not marry the president’s daughter. Mba also reminded Ahmad that his religion preaches against suicide.
The suicide bomber thanked the Police after the advice and also expressed his desire to join the Force because of the “friendly manner” that the Police handled his case.
