“I have been waiting a long time to come here and now it has happened, so I am very happy,” said Doucouré. “I had some interest in other clubs, but from the beginning, when Everton showed interest in me, I told my agent to focus on Everton. It was the only club I wanted to join. Everton have a great history in English football and it is a good club for me to take a step forward in my career.

Newcastle still partying with Lewis
Newcastle united they have continued their expansive spending in this window with the acquisition of Jamal Lewis of Norwich for around £ 15 million. The left-back, who was linked to a move to Liverpool earlier in the summer, signed a five-year deal at St James’ Park.
“Jamal is a very exciting prospect,” said Newcastle manager Steve Bruce. “I saw him flourish in the championship two years ago and he did very well in the Premier League last season. He is only 22 years old and has a wonderful future ahead of him, so I hope he will be a Newcastle United full back for years to come. “
Lewis told the club’s official website: “It was a bit unexpected, but it was something I was obviously looking forward to when I heard there was a lot of interest, so I’m delighted to be here now. Newcastle is a great club with so much history and I knew it was an opportunity that I would love to seize with both hands.
Bayer Leverkusen have invested part of the £ 72m fee for Chelsea’s new signing Kai Havertz, who signs the Czech forward Patrik schick from Rome for £ 24 million. The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig, scoring 10 Bundesliga goals in 22 appearances. Rome they also sold the former Manchester City left-back Alexander Kolarov, which joins Internazionale on a reduced price agreement.
