… Cursing the killers of peaceful protesters, innocent citizens

Traditional worshipers in Oyo state on Friday gathered at the Ose-Meji temple in Ibadan for an emergency meeting on the ongoing #EndSARS protest in the country, blaming President Muhammadu Buhari, for what they described as the gesture. unwavering of the president, despite everyone’s calls. corners of the country for him to change his style of government and the use of religion and ethnicity to divide citizens.
While cursing the killers of protesters in Lekki in Lagos state and other parts of the country, the group, through its secretary in the state, Dr. Fayemi Fatunde Fakayode, said that the emergency meeting was the result of calls from all traditionalists in the state for a solution to the current impasse in the country.
The members resolved at the end of the meeting of notable priests of Ifá and Òrìṣà that a strong curse be cast on those responsible for the murder of peaceful protesters across the country.
Among those attending the meeting is President Sur. Dasola Fadiran Adefabi, Araba from the land of Ibadan; Chief Ifalere Odegbemi Odegbola, Governor of Yemoja de Ibadan; Chief Omikunmi Egbelade and Ariwo of Ogbomoso, Chief Akanni Awotoye Adedeji.
The group said: “It is a sad day for Nigerians when it became known that people supposedly killed many Nigerians because they demanded an end to police brutality and good governance, those who killed innocent Nigerians to defend our oppressors or for whatever reason they will never come and experience peace in their lives. “
“The national broadcast made by the president has eased the tension on the ground even though he was late and did not acknowledge that people were killed in Lekki in Lagos.”
“The transmission would begin to bear positive results if everything promised is manifested in the lives of the people and in the nation’s economy; otherwise Nigerians might view the leadership as unshakable despite international clamor. “
“Rebuilding all state and national facilities that were vandalized or destroyed and businesses must return to normal so we can start a new life.”
“We urge President Muhammadu Buhari to make good use of this historic phase of our lives and make tangible corrections wherever they are needed and as people wished before, during and after the turmoil, our country will do well.”
The group called on Nigerian governors to protect their states from federal rule and assassinations by sponsored thugs, adding that everything that happened during the current turmoil for good governance would be an indelible record for the future.
