Some domestic tourists have been attacked by a crocodile when visiting a crocodile pond at Ave-Dakpa in the Volta region of Ghana.
In a video rapidly gaining traction online, the crocodile emerges from a pond as tourists watched in delight.
However, their joy quickly turned into a state of utter anguish and a cry for help when the crocodile launched an attack on them as they posed for photos.

YEN.com.gh They collected that the usual practice is for the tour guide to feed the crocodile first with a hen before the tourists approach, and they do so from behind and not from the sides.
But in this case, the tour guide did not feed the crocodile before allowing people to start posing next to the reptile.
Although the crocodile initially remained calm as tourists took turns taking photos with him, he suddenly attacked a woman who touched him from the side, biting her severely while yelling for help.
