42 minutes: A cross from the right side of the box by Harry Kane selects Son, who drops the ball for Lo Celso. He’s about to unleash a shot, but a reverse Albrighton snatches the ball from him and puts it back for a corner. Son throws the corner into the area and Kane receives it with a powerful header but puts the attempt over the crossbar.

39 minutes: Barnes needs a physios review as Maddison sends the free throw into the box. Fofana wins the header but Eric Dier goes down and the Spurs get a free throw of their own.

36 minutes: Tottenham is finally getting into the game as the ball is thrown into the box from the right wing, but Schmeichel claims it with confidence. Harvey Barnes carries the ball forward down the left and is tackled by Lo Celso, who accidentally hits him in the face on follow-up.

30 minutes: Ndidi holds Lo Celso and knocks him down about 25 meters from the goal. It’s slightly to the right of the sticks and Harry Kane takes it. He goes to the goal, veers off the wall and forces Schmeichel to make a dive.

27 minutes: Vardy runs behind as Barnes throws the ball overhead. Vardy picks up the ball in the box but has nowhere to go and instead hands it back to Marc Albrighton, who Hojbjerg takes out his pocket before he can shoot.

24 minutes: Some possession for Tottenham now as Wilfred Ndidi shoots a free kick in the middle of the field. The Spurs chain a few passes together before Alderweireld tries a long diagonal ball towards Kane and is intercepted by Fofana.

21 minutes: James Maddison throws a corner directly into the center of the area where Toby Alderweireld wins the ball and heads it. Leicester probably had the best opening in 20 minutes.

Minutes 18: Harry Kane receives a loose ball in midfield and Leicester remains glued to his back. Kane holds it long enough for Son to run to the left side of the box and pick it up. It looks like a classic Kane-Son goal combination, but the South Korean throws it through the six-yard area and no one makes it to the end of the pass.

15 minutes: Hojbjerg again fouls Maddison to the right of Tottenham’s box. Maddison swings the peg into the box, aims for the back post where Harvey Barnes directs it down. Fofana arrives who goes back to Vardy and his shot from the right is blocked.

12 minutes: It was a fairly smooth start. Maddison tries to pick Jamie Vardy in the area, but he is the only Leicester man in the area and closes.
