Chelsea’s Timo Werner admits he’s struggling to adjust to the Premier League after his big summer move, but thinks he will soon start shooting full blast.
The German international has scored just four goals in 13 Premier League games since joining RB Leipzig from the Bundesliga in a € 50 million (£ 45 million) deal in June.
Werner says price adds to the pressure in a league he’s still in.
“It doesn’t matter how much it costs. It’s always a bit of pressure when you come to a new club,” Werner said. “But I think I can handle it very well. It is not something new.
“The pressure is a little higher than in previous years, but I think good footballers are the best under pressure and that’s my plan, I can do very well under pressure.”

Werner, who has been unable to find the net in his last eight games in all competitions, said the tight schedule had contributed to their struggles.
“The beginning was very good, but now after many games I am struggling a bit,” he added.
“I think it’s difficult when you play every three days … and on Saturday against teams that can rest all week.
“It’s hard to be the best in every game, but it’s a lot of fun to play in the Premier League.”
