The National Youth Authority (NYA) has congratulated the graduates of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) that they just finished successfully passing.
In a statement, the Authority’s executive director, Sylvester Tetteh, praised the government for being decisive and firm in ensuring the smooth takeoff and completion of the exam amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“In doing so, we would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the Ghana Education Service with the support of teachers to adequately prepare students for their inaugural national exams and transition to upper secondary school,” he added.
The Authority then reiterated the benefits of the government’s Free SHS policy by urging graduates to use it to their full potential.
“We encourage you to continually seek excellence, strive to become model citizens, and contribute to your community and nation-building efforts.
“We are confident that your hard work and dedication will be crowned with success.”
