On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, the government will begin a weekly nation-building update designed to provide stakeholders in Ghana’s political space with detailed updates on key interventions implemented by the government.
In a press release issued on Friday, September 18, 2020 and signed by the Deputy Minister of Information, Pius Enam Hadzide, the event will take place at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences at 5:00 pm under the theme ” Leadership that delivers for youth ”and will involve the National Youth Authority (NYA), the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), the National Board of Small-Scale Industries (NBSSI) ), the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the National Business Initiative and Innovation Plan (NEIP).
The event offers participating agencies the platform to inform Ghanaians about the various interventions in favor of youth outlined and delivered by the government, including the CAPBUSS under the NBSSI, the YEA Employment Centers, the Project NEIP Presidential Pitch and Green House, processes at NSS, Progression to permanent jobs under NABCO and Digital Marketing and Capacity Building under NYA.
The Nation Building Updates will be broadcast live on all major Ghana TV, radio and new media.
