The founder and president of the Concerned Voters Movement (CVM), Razak Kojo Opoku has launched a campaign in parts of Accra to secure the re-election of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The campaign, which is expected to be repeated across the country, is also to secure the re-election of MPs from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and regain the prominent seats for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on December 7.
Dozens of the party ladies, dressed in party colors, were seen campaigning around the Kwame Nkrumah interchange in Accra with inscribed posters promoting the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led government.
The founder believes that the “good policies” implemented by the government led by Akufo-Addo, such as Free Senior High School, One-Village-One-Dam, One-District-One-Factory, among others, were the ones that will ensure the PNP second term.
Opoku said that President Akufo-Addo and his team will be able to deliver the promises of the PNP manifesto to the good people of Ghana if he and his team are given an additional four years.
The CVM president noted that the nuclear power plant has judiciously used Ghanaian resources than the NDC and that many projects started under the NDC were inflated compared to the nuclear power plant, citing the cost of the Kwame Nkrumah Circle exchange compared to the Pokuase exchange.
He called on Ghanaians to vote for the party that has good policies and projects around it, adding that only President Akufo-Addo has started projects with the funds available for their execution.
