The First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has appealed to all Ghanaian voters, including; first voters, to put the country first, and vote for President Akufo-Addo on December 7.

“I humbly implore you to allow your voices to be heard more than ever. Let them put our country first and vote for President Akufo-Addo and the PNP to protect our progress and make Ghana a beacon of hope for the world, “he said in a message titled” Dear Ghana, “issued on Wednesday in Accra.

Ms Akufo-Addo said, “A lot of the things that Nana talks about and that he has accomplished these last four years are things that he has talked about since I met and married him.”

She described her husband as “a man whose faith in the goodness of this country is unshakeable.”

“He does not tremble with despair or shirk responsibility, even if it seems convenient to him,” the first lady said of President Akufo-Addo.

She, however, said that leading a great nation like Ghana carries its own burdens, and that there were some days when you had to make decisions that were unpopular and there were other days “when you would feel that everyone disagreed with you. his stance”.

“Indeed, there is a part of our country that constantly questions its loyalty to the nation, its commitment to its peace and progress and its faith in the institutions of Ghana and its people. And many times, you are called to do something about it because when you are president, doing nothing is the most difficult job of all ”.

However, he said that President Akufo-Addo “is a man who cares more about keeping his promises,” and that he had confidence in the future of the country; “Which is led by a president who has shown the clearest vision on Ghana, on the economy, on education, on agriculture, on industrialization and on the youth.”

The First Lady, therefore, urged the entire electorate to be the voice of the PNP and, once again, vote for the party on December 7, “and we will be yours for the next four years as we work together, to move Ghana towards his manifest destiny ”.

He thanked all Ghanaians for supporting the PNP and President Akufo-Addo, in the last four years, “with their loyalty to the country, their friendship and most importantly their prayers.

“As I have prayed this morning, as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people now and forever.”
