New Delhi, May 2 (IANS): Chinese smartphone maker Realme has started rolling out a new software update for its latest ‘X50 Pro 5G’ smartphone for select users in India, offering 4K 60FPS video recording capabilities.
According to a GSMArena report, the new firmware also increases the level of Android security patch on the device until April 2020 and comes with a new charging icon.
The update also adds Vivid Mode Mode ‘to ‘Screen Color Mode’ and optimizes network stability.
The update has been rolled out for limited users in India and a broader rollout will start soon.
The smartphone launched in February at a starting price of Rs 37,999. It is equipped with a 6.44-inch Super-AMOLED display that offers an aspect ratio of 20: 9, with a screen-to-body ratio of up to 92 percent.
The device has a 90Hz refresh rate display. At the same time, it has a 180Hz sampling rate that improves the sensitivity and smoothness of the touch screen while playing games.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with the Adreno 650 GPU and delivered with a new real UI based on Android 10,
The smartphone features a 64MP quad camera on the back and a dual camera on the front. The device houses a 4200 mAh dual-cell battery.
