Madame Freda Darko has asked the Appointments Committee of Parliament to disqualify Mr. Dame from the appointment arguing that he is “vicious and cannot be in charge of the country’s Ministry of Justice.”
Among other things, she claimed that attorney Godfred Dame acted unprofessional when he managed to obtain her bank account details and obtained a garnishment order on her account when she was not a party to the lawsuit.
Again he said, Mr. Dame during his tenure as Deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice was also an attorney for a defendant in a court case, pointing out a conflict of interest among others.
