Dr. Serebour Quaicoe, Director of Election Services for the Electoral Commission (EC) has assured voters that they are about to experience one of the best elections in Ghana’s history.
“The certainty of the EC is that we have prepared adequately and by the grace of God, December 7 will witness one of the best elections to be held in this country,” he said.
Speaking on Kastle Drive with Amansan Krakye overseen by MyNewsGh.com, Dr. Serebour Quaicoe stated that everyone must contribute their quota to ensure that the elections go successfully as planned.
“So everyone should help us with whatever small contribution they can to ensure that the process runs successfully. No one should bring anything that destroys the nature of our choice and if you are a journalist tell the truth as it is, “he added.
Dr. Serebour Quaicoe warned the public at Cape Coast-based Kastle FM to desist from spreading false news, and advised journalists to verify their information before publishing.
“There would be a lot of false news and if you don’t take care of yourself and follow that news you could offend the laws that govern elections, so we must verify and verify each information before publishing it,” he concluded.
