Joseph Whittal, CHRAJ Commissioner
The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) has released an interim report on the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
“From the reports received by the Commission from more than 198 electoral districts, 211 districts and 303 voting centers throughout the country, the Commission considers that, in general, the elections were free, fair and transparent and that the violations of the right to vote citizens to vote, especially vulnerable people, was minimal, “said CHRAJ in its interim report on the elections, issued by its commissioner, Joseph Whittal, on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
“However, in the future, more efforts must be made to educate vulnerable individuals, EC officials and related actors, as well as security personnel, on how they can proactively facilitate compliance with the Right to Vote to vulnerable people, “he added.
